I have been a writer, editor and proofreader for more than 40 years! (I started young.) I have experience in writing, editing or proofreading virtually every type of communication, from novels to press releases, from scholarly documents to corporate newsletters, business plans and proposals, marketing plans, web pages, resumes new business proposals and more. I will not ghostwrite your book, but I will proof, edit and make recommendations for improvement.
I love the English language and am devoted to using it accurately. I also like to have fun with it and sometimes break its rules to improve impact. Because I love it so much, I enjoy sharing my knowledge. I want to help you improve your writing.
I earned a BA in English and an MA in Communication. I am also accredited by the Public Relations Society of America (APR). I have worked in book publishing and the marketing, communication, public relations, sales and advertising fields.

Where'd I learn that? In an editing course I took as an undergraduate. Eternal gratitude to my linguistics professor for prepping me for the world of work and imbuing me with joy for language. He also gave me one of my most valued treasures: a page from Samuel Johnson's A Dictionary of the English Language, First Folio Edition, 1755. When we talk, ask me what page.
